JAMMU, Nov 24: Humming Buds Preschool of Model Academy organized Annual Sports Day at its BC Road Campus, here today.
Around 80 tinny toddlers from both BC Road and Residency Road branches of the School participated in various events organized on the occasion.
Chairman MIER, Dr Arun Gupta was the chief guest on this occasion.
Ruchika Gupta, Project Director Humming Buds, presented welcome address and brief annual report on the progress of the school. Principal Model Academy, Rupa Gupta earlier declared the meet open by lighting the sports torch.
Various creative and fun races were organized like Block Race, Pack the basket, Relay Race, Balloon Race, Hurdle Race, Banana Race etc. Parents who had turned out in large numbers for the event boosted the toddlers with enthusiasm. This was followed by enthralling performances by the children in Martial Arts, Aerobics and Dance. All the events were a success displaying exceptional coordination and lifted the mood of the function and made everyone cheer for the little performers.
Special races were even organized for the parents. The fathers participated in ‘Thread the Needle’ race and mothers had to ‘Brade the Plate’. The parents appreciated the school for organizing such a fun filled events.
Medals of honour were presented to the winners by the Guest of Honour and trophies were awarded to the winning parents.
