JAMMU, Jan 2: The 269th Jayanti of Swami Mirzakak a mystic saint of medieval Kashmir was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Swami Ji’s Nagrota Asthapan.
The two- day long celebrations started yesterday and it culminated this afternoon with Puranahuti of Mahayagya. Hundreds of devotees drawn from different parts of Jammu thronged the Asthapan during last two days to participate in the celebrations and pay their obeisance to Swami Ji.
The devotees were served with Prashad after Puranahuti. Swami Mirzakak Trust Hangalgund headed by B L Hangloo had made elaborate arrangements for the function.
On the occasion the religious discourses were given on Swami Ji’s teachings and his spiritual life by Anand Swaroop Pran Nath Bhat Gareeb and Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsangh Ashram, Muthi.
