JAMMU, Oct 10: Ongoing chain hunger strike by the members of Ex Central Para Military Force Welfare Association for One Rank One Pension to them, today entered into 30th consecutive day.
The agitating Association, led by its general secretary Darshan Kumar, has been demanding all the facilities to the Para Military Force pensioners on the pattern of Defence Force personnel.
The protesting members, who are observing a relay hunger strike at Hari Singh Park on the bank of Tawi river, were also addressed by the Association leaders. They highlighted demands like; One Rank One Pension for them, increase in Medical Allowance, CSD and other facilities to the Para Military Force personnel besides establishment of Ard Sainik Welfare Board.
