Hurrah Ashtami celebrated with religious fervour, gaiety

JAMMU, Feb 23: Hurrah Ashtami was celebrated with traditional religious fervour and gaiety today. In this connection religious functions were held at various temples and ashrams.
KP Sabha organized a function in Sabha premises at Ambphalla today under the chairmanship of its president K K Khosa. Besides Pooja Archana under the lotus feet of Maa Jagatamba, the religious discourses were also given highlighting the significance of the day. This was followed by serving of Prashad to devotees.
Another function was organized at Sanjeevani Kutiar by Anand Swami Pran Nath Bhat Gareeb (Bhai Ji) to celebrate the Hurrah Ashtami.
A large number of devotees participated in Sat Sangh and Bhajan Kirtan. Swami Ji while giving religious discourses highlighted the significance of the day. This was followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
Hurrah Ashtami was also celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi in which a large number of devotees took part.
Swami Kumar Ji gave religious discourses and highlighted the significance of the day. The Bhajan Kirtan continued in the Ashram at mid night. This was followed by distribution of prashad among devotees.
In connection with Hurrah Ashtami celebrations a grand religious function was held in Bhagavaan Gopinath Ji Ashram Udaywala Bohri. A large number of devotees drawn from different parts of the city participated in the function.
The Bhajan Kirtan was held in the Ashram under the lotus feet of Bhagavaan Ji. After the culmination of function devotees were served with prashad.
Hurrah Ashtami was also celebrated at Sharika Peeth, Subash Nagar and a large number of devotees attended the function.
