JAMMU, Nov 29: A man was arrested today after he attacked her wife with a sharp edge weapon and left her seriously injured over a household scuffle.
According to a police spokesperson, One Som Dutt resident of Raya area of Vijaypur in Samba district had a quarrel with his wife Veena Devi over an issue. In a fit of rage, Som Dutt attacked her wife with a sharp edged weapon and left him in a pool of blood.
The seriously injured Veena was immediately shifted by neighbours to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition is stated to be critical.
A case under Section 307 has been registered at police station Vijaypur and the accused husband arrested.
