SAMBA, May 31: Samba police has arrested one person for attacking his wife with sharp edge weapon when she was working in field at village Katli of Samba here today.
She has been identified as Jyoti Rani Wife of Sham Lal resident of Village Katli Samba.
According to the report, Jyoti Devi was working in the fields at village Katli in district Samba when suddenly her husband attacked her with sharp edged weapon inflicting critical injuries on her person. Later some people who were passing from there saw the lady in critical condition and they immediately informed the Samba Police.
After receiving the information DySP Headquarter Samba Tanveer Ahmed and SHO Samba Yash Pal Singh Jamwal along with a team of police reached on the spot and immediately shifted her to District Hospital Samba after giving the first aid and due to her critical condition doctors at District Hospital Samba referred her to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for treatment.
In this regard Samba police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation and later the husband of Jyoti Devi arrested by police.
