JAMMU, Aug 18: Women Cell Police has booked husband of a 8-months old pregnant lady and her in-laws in dowry demand case.
As per police sources, a 8-months pregnant lady lodged a complaint with Police Station Women Cell stating that her husband and in-laws use to torture her physically and mentally and also demand dowry.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 42/2021 under Sections 109 IPC and 498-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Women Cell Jammu against the husband of the lady identified as Lovjeet Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh and his parents identified as Gurmeet Singh, son of Dalip Singh and his wife Rajinder Kour, trio residents of Bagga Channa Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
