SAMBA, Sept 20: A husband after thrashing his wife and inflicting grievous injuries on her person later tried to commit suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at village Gagore in Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district today.
The lady was identified as Kiran Kumari while her husband was identified as Satish Kumar. The lady after receiving grievous injuries on her person, was, first taken to Vijaypur Hospital where from doctors referred her to GMC Jammu.
Perturbed over the situation Satish came to his residence and consumed some poisonous substance and he too was shifted first to Emergency Hospital Vijaypur where form doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in a critical condition. The Vijaypur Police has registered a case.
