Hushiar Singh received the best Teacher award from Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha for his remarkable contributions in the education sector. Hushiar Singh hailed from Tehsil Bani of District Kathua. Due to his active participation a smart classroom has been constructed at GHS Sundla without utilizing any Government Fund under Atmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, he was awarded with Certificate, Memento and a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
