SRINAGAR , Nov 8: J&K BJP general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta while lambasting the Gupkar Alliance today said the only fight of Gupkar Gang is to regain power and the survival of their own political interests and they have absolutely no concern for innocent lives, youth’s future and development.
Vibodh Gupta who is also party’s Prabhari (incharge) for Kashmir region was talking to reporters here, today along with BJP spokesperson, Altaf Thakur and other leaders. He attacked Gupkar Gang for cheating Kashmiri people. Earlier, Gupta chaired a party meeting in Srinagar and received the feedback from party leaders on DDC polls. He urged party men to stay united and strengthen the party on all fronts to ensure watershed victory in the Valley.
Vibodh said that these days there is huge enthusiasm among party leaders and workers in Kashmir for the upcoming District Development Council (DDC) elections. This he said is the result of a clear vision and mission of PM, Narendra Modi for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. On this occasion, Vibodh called upon party leaders and workers in Kashmir to work hard to ensure that BJP candidates win all the seats.
Replying to a question on yesterday’s announcement by Gupkar Alliance about their participation in the upcoming DDC elections, Vibodh said that BJP candidates in Kashmir should take this as a huge opportunity to ensure party victory against the unholy Gupkar Alliance. This he said very clearly exposes all the leaders of the Gupkar Gang and their hypocrisy. Ridiculing them, he said on one side they are misguiding the innocent people of Kashmir to boycott Constitution and Tiranga and on the other hand they are contesting the election under the same Constitution and Tiranga.
Vibodh also highlighted the BJP’s road map for Kashmir where the party’s top priorities are peace, education and development. He called upon the people of Kashmir to understand the fact that they need education for their children, jobs for youth, good roads and electricity. “We have to work to make Kashmir the paradise again which in the past has attracted millions of tourists across the Globe to come to Kashmir and feel the beauty of this paradise on earth”. He hoped that the revival of the Tourism Industry in Kashmir will also create millions of jobs. Looking at the high morale of party workers with a clear roadmap for the development of Kashmir, Vibodh expressed full confidence that BJP candidates will win the majority of areas in the coming DDC elections.
