JAMMU, Mar 19: Though former Minister and Congress MLA from Leh, Nawang Rigzin Jora was made Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader in the Lower House several days back yet he had to loudly convey this to his party legislator in the Assembly today.
While participating in the discussion on Governor’s Address, Congress MLA from Inderwal, G M Saroori stretched his speech by indulging into unwarranted discussion with independent MLA from Langate, Engineer Rashid.
This infuriated CLP leader, who requested the Speaker, Kavinder Gupta to stop Mr Saroori as other MLAs of the Congress party too wanted to participate in the discussion. However, Mr Saroori continued to speak least caring about the request of CLP leader.
On this, Mr Jora stood up and loudly told Mr Saroori that he is the CLP leader and only he has to decide how much time should be given to the party MLAs.
