IAF airlifts serious patient

JAMMU, Sept 1: The Indian Air Force (IAF) today came to the rescue of a seriously ill patient by airlifting him from remote village of Sounder in Chenab valley to Jammu for specialized treatment.
Defence spokesman (Ministry of Defence ) Col SD Goswami said the IAF responded to the distress call and deputed its Chetak helicopter to airlifted 65 years old Devidas Kumar Chand from remote village of Sounder. Devidas was suffering from brain hemorrhage  and paralytic attack and his condition was critical.
The IAF deputed its Chetak helicopter, which airlifted the patient and his attendant to Jammu for specialized treatment, Col Goswami said.
