IAF chopper makes precautionary landing

JAMMU, Nov 12: A chopper of the Indian Air Force (IAF) made “precautionary landing” at Purmandal in Samba district this evening after the Pilot reportedly sensed some technical snag.
The chopper was on way from Samba to Mansar on a routine sortie with six on board.
Officials said Squadron Leader Sharadh Kumar, who was flying the chopper, reportedly felt that the helicopter has developed some technical snag and he made “precautionary landing” at Purmandal in Samba district.
However, after checking, the chopper was later flown to Jammu base of the IAF.
All six crew members on board the chopper including the Squadron Leader were fully safe.
