JAMMU, Feb 15: International Association for Human Values (IAHV) supported by The Boston Consulting Group (India) Private Limited conducted a 2-day intuition program called ‘Prajna Yoga’ program for visually impaired students at Louis Braille Memorial Residential School for Sightless Girls, Roop Nagar, Jammu.
All the visually impaired girl students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the workshop which was meant for empowerment of visually and hearing impaired children through IAHV’s Intuition Program.
A special faculty of intuition program comprising Shreya Chugh and Rukmani Devi flew from Bangalore IAHV centre for this first ever workshop specially designed program for visually impaired students in Jammu. She was assisted by other faculty –Anuja Jasrotia, Akshita Sharma, Aanchal, Sunny, Nirja, Prabha Slathia and dedicated team of volunteers–Isha, Sonia, Ashish, Sonam, Shubham, Anajali, Renu Sapro, Sunita, Vijay, Khemlata, Rahul, Pratham, Dr Bahwana, Dr Shrey and staff of Louis Braille Memorial Residential School.
After two-day and 4 hours session, the sightless girl students were able to correctly identify and explain by telling about the pictures, colors on sheets and the numbers recorded on a paper sheet by just touching the paper. They could paint the pictures by simply touching the printed cards and correctly choosing the colors including proper outlining.
After the session, the participating specially abled students were found infused with a lot of confidence. On the concluding day, the School Principal Nivedita Shukla, Superintendent Aprajita, staff, organizer for program, faculty for workshop and volunteers were present.
During the two-day program, participants learnt simple and powerful techniques which enabled them to access, cultivate, utilize and maintain their inherent intuitive abilities. The participants learnt brain activation exercises, designed specifically for their particular age.
