POONCH, Apr 17: Daughter of the soil, Rehana Bashir, who recently qualified country’s top, IAS examination, today interacted with the students of Govt Degree College, Poonch and motivated them to study hard, think higher and work for minimising the sufferings of the public .
Rehana, who was invited by the College Management at a brief felicitation function here today, was accorded warm reception. She interacted with the students of the college and gave them tips how to make preparation, study hard and crack top exams.
In her brief address, she said that after qualifying IAS, a great responsibility has come on her shoulders. She said that her purpose is to identify the problems of the people and solve them. For this, the support of the public is must, she added.
Rehana said if she gets opportunity to work in her home town Poonch, she would try to solve the sufferings of the people of her area. Rehana said she already has in mind many issues of the area as she has grown up here and was watching since long. She would try to focus on those issues.
She said it is the collective responsibility of the officers and the citizens to work together in minimising the sufferings of the people. She extended gratitude to the College Management for according her warm reception.
