JAMMU, Feb 22: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India felicitated internationally acclaimed film Director Amit Dutta for creating an out of the world film ‘Nainsukh’ on the life of an 18th century Pahari Miniature painter who brought this region in the world focus of Art.
The felicitation function was organised at IIIM Auditorium and the honours were done by Director IIIM Dr Ram Vishwakarma and Regional Director ICCR, Balwant Thakur.
Speaking on the occasion Balwant Thakur said that Amit Dutta is the one who surprised the film world through his outstandingly different signatures of film making.
Balwant Thakur said that Amit Dutta has encouraged the youth to expose themselves to unconventional and meaningful cinema.
