JAMMU, May 25: Jammu Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Union Ministry of External Affairs, celebrated its fifth foundation day here today at ICCR headquarters.
On the occasion, a document entitled ‘4 eventful years of ICCR in Jammu’ was also released. A film showcasing the glimpses of ICCR activities was also screened.
Regional Director, ICCR Jammu, Balwant Thakur, while elaborating on the four most happening years of ICCR in Jammu, gave a detailed account of its major programmes, outstanding achievements and accomplishments.
Unfolding details, Thakur said that in just four years ICCR established new International professional standards and trends of cultural showcasing in Jammu. In this short span of time with 67 major events, ICCR established the city of Jammu as an International destination of vibrant cultural happenings.
