RAJOURI, Sept 3: One person was injured after an ice-cream van fell down into a nallah on Rajouri-Darhal road today.
Official sources said that road accident took place near Kassiyan village, when the air-conditioned vehicle was transporting ice cream to Darhal town from Rajouri, It left from Jammu early morning carrying ice-cream for Rajouri area.
Immediately after the mishap, local residents responded to the incident and shifted the injured driver to Darhal hospital. Later, he was evacuated to GMC, Hospital Rajouri.
Dr Sajad Mirza, Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Darhal, said that the injured person is currently receiving treatment at GMC Rajouri. His condition was stated to be stable.
