IDA conducts pre-conference courses

JAMMU, Oct 31: Ahead of three-day mega Dental conference, the Indian Dental Association (IDA), Jammu branch today conducted the pre conference courses, lectures, hands-on and workshop at Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Sehora and Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College (IGGDC), Jammu.
Dr P D Joshi delivered a lecture and conducted a hands-on workshop in a well attended scientific function on the topic ‘Recent Advances in Endodontics’ at IDS Sehora. During the occasion, Dr Gautam Sharma, general secretary IDA, Dr R K Suri, Chairman IDS, Dr Y K Singla, Principal IDS, Anirudh Gupta, trustee, Dr Gautam Mengi, Director Academics, Dr Rajiv Mengi, Oral Pathologist and Treasurer of IDA and Dr Himja Mengi were present.
Dr R K Suri said that it is very important to conduct such programmes for the academic and practical growth in dentistry. Dr Y K Singla assured all possible support and encouraged IDA to conduct workshops in the institution in future also.
Lectures and Hands-on courses were also conducted at IG Govt Dental College (IGGDC) by Dr S P Aggarwal, Dr Kshitij Mawlikar and Dr Smriti Bhargava.
While giving the details, Dr Bhupinder Singh, president elect of IDA said that the main conference will be inaugurated by Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu on 1st of November at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu where most of the Scientific programmes and cultural events are going to take place.
