IDA organizes hands-on course on ‘Economical Efficient Endodontics’

JAMMU, Aug 9: Indian Dental Association (IDA), Jammu branch in association with Kavo Kerr Group today organized lecture and hands on course on the topic “Economical Efficient Endodontics”.
This was informed by Dr Gautam Sharma, Secretary IDA, Jammu.
Dr Bhupinder Singh, President of Association, said that IDA and Kavo Kerr Group have come together to provide and facilitate students to learn new advances in dentistry.
Dr Sanket Sheth from Mumbai was the speaker during the occasion. He introduced the participants about the newer techniques in endodontics which are very economical and efficient. After his lecture he conducted the Hands on module.
Endodontic files worth Rs 1800 were given free of cost to participants who opted for hands on module.
Dr Abhishek Mahajan spoke on the topic “Rubber Dam and its Application” with live demonstration.
Dr Kunal Vuthoo, Chairman CDE of IDA, said that “We are planning to organise a workshop on medical emergencies in dental practice by well known Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr Rohit Punga who hails from New Delhi. This workshop will not only benefit the budding dentists but also the established ones”.
Dr Rajiv Mengi, Oral Pathologist and treasurer of IDA said this programme aims to involve faculty and students with common aim of sharing knowledge.
Among others present were Dr Vibha Raina, Dr Umang Jamwal, Dr Rakesh Raina, Dr OP Singh, Dr Prince Aneet Singh, Dr Sarang Khajuria, Dr Himja Mengi and Dr Navjot Singh.
