JAMMU, May 12: Indian Dental Association (IDA) will be organizing a State and interstate dental conference in the first week of November this year at Jammu.
This was revealed by Dr Gautam Sharma, general secretary, IDA, Jammu branch. He said this will be a mega event and more than one thousand delegates are expected to participate in it from J&K as well as neighbouring States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh.
Dr Ritesh Gupta, president IDA, Jammu branch said that information has already been sent to Head Office at Mumbai regarding organization of this conference.
Dr KS Kotwal, one of the senior most dentists from the State said that Government agencies and departments must be involved to make this event a great success.
He further revealed that they are trying to rope in dental equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical industry, and other industrial houses for sponsorship.
Dr Ritesh said that they are also planning to organize some Continuous Dental Education (CDE) programmes and seminars for dentists of Jammu in coming months.
