IDA’s Srinagar Chapter holds dental education prog

SRINAGAR, Mar 17: The Indian Dental Association’s (IDA) Srinagar Chapter organized the dental education program under the chairmanship of its president Dr Mudasir Khan.
Dr. Ashiq Ali, consultant postgraduate Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Govt Dental College and Hospital, Srinagar, gave a talk on Understanding Odontogenic Space Infections and their Management, which is a frequent problem in J&K.
Dr Abdul Latif Mattoo, the course coordinator, extended a cordial welcome to all participants and GlaxoSmith Pharmaceutical guests. Dr Nusrat, President of IDA J&K, awarded the guest speaker with certificates of appreciation.
Importantly, scores of doctors from the field and teachers from the Dental College took part in the programme, as did other notable doctors such as Dr Hilal Ahmad Joo, president-elect, Dr Rouf Jeelani, and Dr Adil Rasool Malik, organising secretary of the 13th Dental Conference. Dr. Altaf Malik called the meeting to order. Dr Lateef Mattoo, Branch Secretary of IDA Srinagar, concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
