IDBI appoints Manoj Sahay, Sushil Singh to its Board

LIC promoted IDBI Bank on Friday said its Board has approved the appointments of Manoj Sahay,Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Expenditure and Sushil Kumar Singh, Director, Department of Financial Services of the Ministry of Finance on its Board.
These appointments have come into effect from April 28 and will continue until further orders, the lender said in a regulatory filing.
Sahay, an IA&AS officer of 1994 batch, is currently handling six departments including Department of Revenue, Department of Expenditure, Department of Economic Affairs, Departrnent of Financial Services, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and Department of Public Enterprises.
Prior to this, he was on Deputation as Director (Administration & Finance) at National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation under Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Singh, an officer of 2006 batch of Indian Defence Accounts Service, is currently looking after the financial division and monitoring the implementation of government flagship schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Stand up India scheme and micro insurance schemes.
“Manoj Sahay and Shri Sushil Kumar Singh are not related to any other Director or on the Board of IDBI Bank,” the lender added.
