BHADERWAH, Jan 11: A idol of Sheshnag was today recovered from Kansar area of Bhaderwah tehsil and installed in famous Vasuki Naag Temple in the heart of Bhaderwah town.
Reports said that some villagers found idol of Sheshnag near Deodar trees on Bhaderwah-Kansar road this morning. On getting information about recovery of idol with silver crown weighing 15 to 20 tolas, large number of people gathered in the area to have glimpse of Sheshnag.
Later, people shifted the idol to famous Vasuki Naag Temple in the heart of Bhaderwah town and handed it over to the Pujaris. They also informed police as well as local Hindu organizations about the same.
