JAMMU, Feb 19: Mohalla Gujral Welfare Committee installed idols of Ram Darbar, Mata Vaishno Devi, Shiv Parivaar, Lakshmi Narayan in Radha Krishna temple at Mohalla Gujral Camp road, Talab Tillo amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras and performing of special Pooja by a team of highly Sanskrit learned Pandits.
Senior NC leader and former Dy Mayor, Dharam Veer Singh Jamwal was the chief guest on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamwal said that by installing idols the long pending aspirations of the people of area has been fulfilled.
He added that idols in the Hindu temples are physical bodies which have been energized to vibrate in a certain way such that they impact everything around them.
Promient among those who grace this auspicious occasion include Sanjeev Singh Chib, Darshan Singh Chib, Girdhari Lal, Manohar Singh Chib, Ramesh Malhotra, Sampuran Singh and Rakesh Salgotra.
