IECS Polytechnic conducts Entrepreneurship Development Programme

JAMMU, Nov 7: IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, Jammu in collaboration with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI), Govt of India, conducted 10 days long Entrepreneurship Development Programme in College premises, here.
The programme started with the lectures of experts including Bharat Bhushan Raina; Industrialist Prop Pelican Cables, Joy Ganjoo; Chairman, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, CA, Loveneesh Kapoor, Chartered Accountant, Kashiv Dutt Sharma, Department of Industries and Commerce, Mahesh Dutt Bali, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank, Anil Koul, Senior Partner, AS and Associates, Manik Arora, Assistant Prof Department of Tourism, University of Jammu, Er Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean- Administration, IECS Polytechnic and Er H C Vaid; HoD Mechanical Department, North Polytechnic covering wide range of topics such as Entrepreneurial Motivation through success story, sustaining Entrepreneurship, Managing time effectively and overview of project formulation, understanding the State Industrial Policy and learning about various incentives applicable to entrepreneur, learning about the collateral credit facilities available to entrepreneur under Govt. of India sponsored schemes, working capital management, Leadership Style, Business Communication, Sales and marketing management.
During the valedictory function, Prof K G Gupta, Principal, IECS Polytechnic asserted that such kind of programme is a need of hour to cater unemployment by inculcating entrepreneurship skill among students and encourage them to become entrepreneur.
