Srinagar, Feb 16: Militants today triggered off an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on an old National Highway in Pazalpora area of Bijbehara in district Anantnag.

The IED which was kept in a scrap in a dumper was triggered off in the Pazalpora area near CRPF party, which exploded with a bang. However, no injury was reported in the incident.
Police and security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The investigation has been taken up.
