SRINAGAR, Dec 7: The Bomb Disposal Squad today destroyed an IED planted in an agricultural field at Hanjipora-Mir Bazar.
A police spokesman said that unknown militants planted an IED in an agricultural field near a passengers shed at Hanjipora crossing, Mir Bazaar. However, the IED was timely detected by Police, 9-RR and 163 BN CRPF.
“A team of Bomb Disposal Squad later destroyed the planted IED without causing any harm. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been started,” the spokesman said.
