RAJOURI, Dec 15: Security forces today recovered a consignment of explosives and ammunition from a hideout of the militants in forest area of Thannamandi in this border district.
Recoveries were made during a search operation by the security personnel on the basis of a specific information.
Seizure include four remote control Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), six UBGL grenades, five detonators, four fuse, two small boxes and some other items.
“A major tragedy has been averted with timely recovery of the explosive material,” the sources said.
