JAMMU, Jan 15: Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jammu Centre, today organized an expert lecture by Prof Mridula Gupta, Chairperson IEEE EDS Delhi Chapter, in collaboration with Department of Physics and Electronics, University of Jammu and IEEE EDS Delhi chapter.
The topic of today’s lecture was “Advancements in Semiconductor Device Technology: Modeling and Simulation “.
While welcoming the gathering, Dr Rakesh Vaid, Chairman, IETE Jammu Centre, introduced the topic and threw light on the concept of theme.
Prof Vivek Gupta, Head Department of Physics and Electronics, JU, lauded the efforts of the IETE Jammu team in promoting such academic activities and further suggested to organize such activities in future also in collaboration with IETE.
Dr. Parveen Lehana, Hon. Secretary of the IETE Jammu Centre, presented the vote of thanks.
Prominent among those, present on the occasion, included Dr Susheel Sharma, Dr Rockey Gupta, Dr Ramni Gupta, Dr Sandeep Arya, Jang Bhadur and Roshni Gupta besides many student members of IETE, research scholars and students of M Sc Electronics programme from the Department of Physics and Electronics.
