Jammu, Dec 17: The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), J&K (UT), organized a “Nano Awareness cum Farmers Interaction Programme” at Trewa village, in Block Arnia of Jammu district.
More than, 120 farmers enthusiastically participated in the event. The programme was graced by Sukhpal Singh Sidhu, State Marketing Manager, IFFCO J&K, Surinder Gupta, SDAO, RS Pura, Basant Saini, Chairman CMS–Bishnah and progressive farmer from the region.
Addressing the gathering, Sukhpal Singh Sidhu highlighted IFFCO’s nano fertilizers, explaining their step-by-step application process and transformative benefits. He emphasized how these fertilizers not only enhance crop productivity and quality but also contribute to sustainable farming by reducing dependency on traditional chemical fertilizers. He encouraged farmers to adopt these innovative solutions to achieve sustainable agricultural growth while minimizing reliance on traditional chemical fertilizers.
Live demonstration was conducted to showcase the efficiency and effectiveness of IFFCO’s nano-fertilizers and Sagarika in improving crop yield and soil health. Farmers observed the step-by-step application process and engaged in discussions about the products’ usage and their impact on various crops.
Farmers also visited the potato field of Basant Saini, a progressive farmer, who shared his personal experiences of using nano fertilizers. Many other farmers also expressed their satisfaction with the products, praising their significant role in improving productivity and overall farming outcomes. The programme was coordinated by Vivek Verma, Field Officer of the organization for Jammu.
