JAMMU, Aug 16: Senior IFS officer from J&K UT, Mohan Choudhary, who was recently placed under suspension by the Union Forest and Environment Ministry, has asked two retired Principal Chief Conservators of Forests, Amit Gera and Roshan Jaggi and the then PCCF Suresh K Gupta (Now Pr Secy) to provide copies of documents, rules, and statement to be produced in departmental proceedings / appeal, regarding status of his relieving order, dated Feb 14, 2022.
In separate letters flashed to these top J&K cadre Forest officers, Choudhary claimed that Union Ministry in its order dated Aug 8, 2024 has informed about drawal of proceedings against him for not joining Ladakh in pursuance of his transfer order dated 13-02-2022 by J&K Administration and there upon relieving order dated 14-2-2022 by Chief Conservator of Forests.
He further pointed out that since his transfer order dated 13-2-2022 upto the order of departmental proceedings dated 8-8-2024, these three officers were holding the charge as PCCF and dealing with his transfer and relieving orders etc. Choudhary contested that his suspension order was manipulated and as per J&K Reorganisation Amendment Act 2021, they were not competent to deal with his transfer and posting.
The aggrieved IFS officer alleged that some officials for vested interests manipulated the case and tried to hide the facts and did not produce real picture before the Union Ministry.
