Iftkhar in-charge of 6 states for NSUI’s talent hunt prog

Jammu, July 4: Iftkhar Ahmed, Election Commissioner, All India NSUI Central Election Authority, who was made in-charge of Six important states including Karnataka, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, Kerala and Maharashtra for conducting talent hunt for selecting NSUI Returning Officers has conducted talent hunt in these states.
He selected about 160 NSUI Returning officers which includes District Returning Officer (DRO) , Zonal Returning Officer (ZRO) and Pradesh Returning Officer (PRO) and these selected Returning Officers will be deputed by central Election Authority to conduct NSUI elections in other states during elections process throughout the country.
NSUI Central Election Authority, which has responsibility of conducting NSUI internal organizational elections throughout the country had conducted talent hunt for selecting Returning officers (RO) to conduct NSUI elections across the country. Through this talent hunt, NSUI provided platform to the students and youth of country to work as Returning Officer in NSUI election commission and become part of vision of Rahul Gandhi, general secretary AICC and in-charge NSUI and youth congress for transformation of NSUI through internal democracy within the organization.
About 500 NSUI Activists participated in this talent hunt process and among them 160 were selected during interview and these selected Returning officers will be given training about the election process and will be deputed to other states to conducted NSUI organizational elections.
Iftkhar, who hails from Rajouri districts is one among the five Election Commissioners all over the country appointed through talent hunt by Rahul Gandhi for conducting organizational Elections in NSUI.
