SRINAGAR: Inspector General (IG) of Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir Sonali Mishra on Sunday briefed Advisor to Governor K Vijay Kumar about the internal security situation and arrangements put in place for Amarnath yatra.
An official spokesperson here this evening said that Ms Sonali met Mr Kumar in the summer capital, Srinagar, on Saturday. He said Ms Sonali briefed the Advisor about the existing internal security situation in the valley.
She also briefed Mr Kumar about the arrangements being made for the safety and security of pilgrims visiting the State to perform Amarnath Yatra, which commenced on June 28, 2018. (AGENCIES)
