JAMMU, Dec 7: The Post Graduate Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC), Jammu eclipsed in the 18th National ISPPD PG Convention ‘Pedopulse’ in Lucknow and 43rd National ISPPD Conference ‘Pedotaal’ in Bhopal.
Dr Bhavna Kaul (Prof and HoD, PG Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry) received the best paper award in the 43rd National ISPPD conference whereas Dr Aishwaraya Gupta received best paper award in the same conference, under the guidance of Dr Bhavna Kaul.
The Department also showed outraged performance in the 18th National ISPPD PG Convention, in which under the guidance of Dr Bhavna Kaul, Dr Syed Gulbar bagged the best paper award.
The Conference was attended by more than 2000 participants including the national and international delegates. The Conference’s stated aim was to promote the recent approach towards the pediatric oral health. The conference was an important step towards the eventual correction of erroneous beliefs, preconceptions and misapprehensions.
The final communiqué of the Conference underscored the need for further spread of preventive and recent approach towards the pediatric oral health for the betterment and so as to combat the negative behavior of the children.
