JAMMU, June 19: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today announced admission in the newly introduced Music Course in July 2013 session through its school of performing and visual arts.
The course is in performing arts in Hindustani Music, which has been specially designed to understand the Indian Music and Art in all forms, Indian Culture and Cultural Traditions, with complete introduction to visual and performing arts.
The one year’s certificate programme in Music Course (CPAHM) is of 16 credits with 6 credits of theory and 10 credits of practicals. The eligibility of one year certificate in Music course is 10th pass from the recognized university.
The student handbook and prospectus will be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centre, Jammu in person by cash of Rs 200.
The last date of submission of forms at Jammu Regional Centre is June 30, and with late fee of Rs 500 is July 31, 2013.
