JAMMU, Feb 7: IGNOU is organizing its 33rd Convocation on February 17 and the main function would be organised at University headquarters at New Delhi where Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Minister of HRD will deliver the Convocation address.
The Convocation function will also be simultaneously organised at IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar where Tariq Ahmad Ganie, Deputy Commissioner, District Budgam, will be the guest of honour, Dr G N Yatoo, Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, will distribute the degrees to the awardees and Prof Nisar Ahmad Mir, Registrar, University of Kashmir, will preside over the function.
SMS has been sent to all the eligible awardees who will be receiving the degrees at the convocation function in Srinagar. All the eligible awardees have been advised to report at the venue i.e. Govt. College of Education MA Road, Srinagar, at 10.30 am for registration purposes.
