IGNOU exams from Dec 1

JAMMU, Nov 29: The Term End examinations of Indira Gandhi National Open University are going to commence from December 1, 2016 and the same will conclude on December 29.
The University has established 890 examination centres, including 18 overseas centres and 91 centres in jails for jail inmates.
Under Jammu Region, 23 examination centres have been established, including three in jails for jail inmates.
Hall Tickets (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 4, 72,767 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination.  The hall ticket is available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in and the students may download the same. for appearing in the examination.
The examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.
Students have been advised to be in possession of the valid Identity card, issued by the University during the examination.  The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Separate Hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA & MCA for Term End practicals.  Students have been advised to contact the respective Regional Centre Jammu in the last week of December, 2016 for their practical examinations.  For BLIS (Library Science) all Theory Examination Centres are not activated for the conduct of practical examination.  Practical Examination of all the BLIS learners under RC Jammu, who are to appear in December 2016 TEE, will be conducted in the Examination Centre 1201 (Luthra College of Education, Talab Tillo, Jammu) only. Students may contact the Centre Superintendent and see the notice board for Practical Examination Centre.
