NEW DELHI, June 21: Keeping in view the pulse of today’s generation, the Indira Gandhi National Open University invites applications for Diploma in Business Process Outsourcing- Finance and Accounting (DBPOFA) through open and distance learning system.
The university in association with Accenture has designed and developed the Diploma, a programme which is first of its kind, an IGNOU statement issued here today said.
The programme will provide opportunity to the students to develop their professional skills, to be eligible for employment in the mushrooming BPO industry.
The last date for submission of application forms for July 2012 session is July 30 (with late fee of Rs 200 upto August 14).
This diploma programme incorporates a unique blend of theory and practical courses, designed by eminent academicians, Accenture subject matter experts, BPO training organisations and e-learning organisations to provide students with a comprehensive learning model, it said.
The programme is targeted towards undergraduate, graduate and working professionals.
DBPOFA is divided into two semesters comprising Finance and Accounting and English Communications and IT skills.
The student handbook and prospectus is available in all the regional centres as well as in the University’s headquarters which can be purchased for Rs 100 and submitted along with the requisite fee in the form of a demand draft to the nearest regional centre of the University. (UNI)
