JAMMU, Mar 20: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Armed/IRP Jammu Zone MN Tiwari today visited Commando Training Centre (CTC) Sunjwan to take stock of infrastructure facilities and to foresee the scope of upgradation of the infrastructure.
The IGP AP/IRP Jammu Zone was accompanied by DIG Armed/IRP Jammu Zone Nisha Nathyal and SO to IGP AP/IR Jammu Manjeet Kour during his visit to the CTC Sunjwan.
During their visit, the senior police officers said that with the upgradation of the infrastructure, more trainees could be accommodated and specialised training courses could also be run at the upgraded training centre.
On his arrival at CTC Sunjwan, the IGP AP/IR Jammu Zone, Tiwari was received by Anita Sharma, Commandant IRP-14th Battalion along with other officers/officials of the battalion and was presented by a guard of honour at Quarter Guard.
The IGP AP/IRP Jammu also inspected the CTC campus and interacted with the trainees undergoing month long physical fitness refresher course and discussed with them various issues pertaining to the training centre.
The trainees were also briefed about the importance of their ongoing training and were advised to maintain strict discipline and fitness. A plantation drive was also organised on the occasion.
