JAMMU, Oct 13: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Dr SD Singh promoted 175 police personnel to the next rank.
The promotes include 142 Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of SIs, 1 HC to ASI, 18 SgCts to HCs, 12 Cts to SgCts. In-situ promotion was also granted to 2 constables.
Dr SD Singh IGP Jammu Zone expressed hope that this promotion will act as a morale booster for the police officials so as to rededicate themselves to work with even more zeal and enthusiasm thereby bringing laurels to the Police Department.
