Srinagar, June 3: Inspector General of Police, Kashmir zone, A.G Mir today promoted 205 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors, besides, in-situ grade promotion to 24 officers/officials of Kashmir zone.
A police spokesman said the Departmental Promotion Committee under the chairmanship of Mir has approved the promotions.
The IGP felicitated the promoted officers and their families and hoped that they will work hard to serve the people and the department.
