JAMMU, Sept 29: IGP Jammu Dilbagh Singh today ordered promotion of seven Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub Inspectors.
“The timely promotion of the officials has boosted the high morale of subordinate staff. With the promotions, lower ranking officials will also get a chance of promotion to the next rank. This is also the result of regular attention in the area for the welfare of subordinate units’’, the IGP said.
Mr Singh today also held ‘piping ceremony of Sub Inspectors including Deepak Pathania, Manjeet Singh, Abid Hussain, Neeraj Kumar, Pushpinder Singh and Opinder Singh as Inspectors. The Police Headquarters had recently promoted them as Inspectors.
The IGP wished bright future to the new Inspectors.
