JAMMU, Apr 2: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Danish Rana visited border areas in RS Pura and Arnia sectors and reviewed security scenario.
IGP visited all the border police stations and border police posts which included BPP Nari, BPP Badyal Brahmana, BPP Agrachak, BPP Baspur Bangla, BOP Abdullian, BOP Suchetgarh, BPP Chakroi, BPP Dewangarh, BPP Dewangarh, BPP Sai Kalan, BPP Trewa, Kathar village and briefed the officers and manpower to remain extra vigilant, strengthen the anti-infiltration grid by effectively laying nakas to ensure security to the general public.
IGP Jammu also held interactions with residents of border villages and listened to their grievances. He also held interaction with BSF Officers.
IGP Jammu was accompanied by Randheer Singh, SP Headquarters, Devinder Singh, SDPO RS Pura, Chandan Kohli, SHO RS Pura police station, Jatinder Singh, SHO Arnia police station and Narinder Singh, SHO Bishnah police station.
