IGP Telecom confers ranks on 19 police officers

SRINAGAR, Aug 22: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Telecom Services, Jammu & Kashmir, Bhim Sen Tuti, today conferred the rank of Sub-Inspector on 19 recently promoted officers of the Telecom Wing during a pipping ceremony at the Police Headquarters Auditorium.
The honorees, from the Telecom Kashmir Zone and ACS Zone Kashmir, include Bashir Ahmad Reshi, Nazir Ahmad Mir, Aushum Ahmad, Gulzar Ahmad Naikoo, Ghulam Ahmad Peer, Ghulam Mohammad Ganai, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Nasir Ahmad, Javid Iqbal Pir, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar, Mohammad Shafi Ganie, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Mehraj-ud-din Malla, Abdul Rouf Shah, Ghulam Nabi Bhat and Mohammad Yousuf Tantray.
In his address, IGP Tuti congratulated the newly promoted officers and their families, emphasizing the vital role of the Telecom Wing in enhancing communication operations for the J&K Police.
He also highlighted ongoing efforts to modernize the telecom infrastructure and expressed confidence in the officers’ continued dedication in their new roles.
The ceremony was attended by Director of Police Telecommunication J&K, Manoj Kumar Pandith, SP Telecom Kashmir Zone, Fayaz Yaseen, SP Telecom ACS Kashmir, Akhtar Buch, ADO PHQ, Siraj-u-Din, and other officers from the Telecom Headquarters.
