IGP to conduct inquiry against SSP

JAMMU, Oct 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bhim Sen Tuti as an Inquiry Officer to investigate charges framed against SSP Fayaz Ahmad Lone.

“In terms of Rule 33 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Bhim Sen Tuti, IG (POS) PHQ, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer to conduct an inquiry into the charges framed against Fayaz Ahmad Lone, SSP, under suspension and submit his report within a period of 30 days from the date of issuance of the Government order,” read an order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department.
Further, Joint Director Prosecution, Crime Branch, J&K, Laeeq Ahmad Dar, has been appointed as the Presenting Officer in the case.
