SIRMAUR, June 21: Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur is organizing a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Data Analytics For Research” from today.
The FDP is being sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy. Due to the crisis caused by Covid 19 pandemic, the entire program is being hosted online by IIM Sirmaur via virtual teaching learning platform.
The FDP was jointly inaugurated by ATAL Academy (AICTE) along with 53 other FDPs, all starting on the same day. The participants for this customised program include faculty members, school teachers, research students, industry professionals who are interested in using data analysis for their teaching, research and job purposes.
Prof Pradipta Patra (Faculty Decision Sciences, IIM Sirmaur) and Prof Vikas Kumar (Faculty Marketing Management, IIM Sirmaur) are the primary resource persons for conducting the sessions.
A session dedicated to stress management, happiness, well-being and improvement of mental health has been planned on final day of the FDP. The participants will need to take up an online test to receive the FDP participation certificate.
