JAMMU, Jan 6: Digital Media students of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Jammu were awared about Data Protection Bill.
Shivani Jalali, Advocate of J&K High Court interacted with the students and gave lecture on Data Protection to the Digital Media students. She defined Data, Data fiduciary, Data principal, Data processor, Data Protection officer, personal data, public interest etc. and presented brief idea.
Jalali explained the process of a bill becoming law.
She also presented the ideas about how an idea is developed, it is drafted and bill introduced in the legislature. Initially, Pratyaksh Dubey, student of Digital Media introduced Jalali and Vishv presented vote of thanks.
