JAMMU, Nov 25: Teams of Police Stations Domana and Miran Sahib and Police Posts Manwal and Phallain Mandal raided different locations in their respective areas and seized eight vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The seized vehicles were a Tractor Trolley without registration number seized by Police Station Domana; four vehicles—one Tractor Trolley bearing registration number JK02X-2619 and three without registration numbers seized by Police Station Miran Sahib; two Tippers bearing registration number JK02CR-5604 and JK02CQ-4206 seized by Police Post Manwal and one Tipper bearing registration number JK02CT-3802 seized by Police Post Phallain Mandal.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same while the recoveries were made by SHO Domana, Inspector Tilak Raj; SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq; I/C PP Manwal, PSI Sanjeev Sharma and I/C PP Phallain Mandal PSI, Ajesh Singh Jamwal in their respective jurisdictions.
The mining was done in violation of order of J&K High Court.
