JAMMU, July 29: Team of Electric Sub-Division I, JPDCL Green Belt Jammu today conducted surprise inspection in Channi Himmat area and disconnected 15 illegal connections in Jhuggis.
These Jhuggis were using power by hooking that causes overloading of the Sub-stations.
The inspection drive was conducted on the direction of Executive Engineer, Electric Division II JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Team of the officials of electric Sub Division-I Green Belt, led by AEE, assisted by Feeder Managers along with other field staff, conducted the inspection drive in Sector 3, Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas.
Total 26 numbers of inspections were conducted and 15 numbers of illegal domestic connections in Jhuggis were disconnected, said a press release.
